Farrah Wise
I have lived in British Colombia my whole life, but I often travel outside the country with my family. I really enjoy travelling with my family and seeing different parts of the world together, as well as seeing different cultures and arts at the same time. While travelling, I have discovered so much love for the history of arts, and without travelling, I don't think I would have learned how much politics and arts have been a key factors in human development. As much as I love working in the fine arts, I enjoy research just as much. Learning the meaning behind the symbols and certain colours used in the past and current pieces is fascinating in terms of the ways of the process and how it is similar and different to today. History is never ending, you can never stop learning about it, especially in certain topics. I find art and history constantly coexist in every place I've travelled. The era and place are so important for art, as well as for the evolution of cultures around the world and the growth of societies.
