My name is Amber Ramos, I am a young Filipino-Canadian artist based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After graduating from high school in 2024, I will attend the University of Toronto to continue my studies and pursue my passion for fine arts. I have recently done small but meaningful exhibitions at the Winnipeg Art Gallery and the Kultivation Festival, where I've been able to simultaneously share my work and connect with the art community of Manitoba. My work fluctuates through different mediums, as I like experimenting and discovering new ways to convey my concepts through different art forms. However, my work mostly revolves around themes of community, Filipino culture, and identity. Through this, I am able to navigate my own identity as a Filipino-Canadian and share my vibrant culture to the world as well.
