I am Isabelle Houde, an AP art student from Regina, Saskatchewan. I am in the Balfour Arts Collective at Balfour Collegiate. Art has always been my escape, my passion, and my way of expressing the unspoken. Since I was old enough to hold a pencil or a paintbrush I was creating. My biggest inspiration is my Mom, she is an amazing artist who got me into the world of art. I strived to be a great artist just like her. To learn and practice all my skills I attended art classes outside of school, I would go to my Mom’s art shows and classes, as well as experiment at home. As I got older I found my own style of art, what mediums were my favourite, and what I was the best at. My experience with art has taught me to be patient and to be confident in myself.
